Dr. Theodore Nagel, MD
Dr. Theodore Nagel earned his Bachelor Degree in Biology at St Olaf College in Northfield, MN. He went on to complete his Medical Degree from Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Ohio State University Medical Center. He stayed on at The Ohio State to complete a Reconstructive Microsurgery Fellowship. In addition, he was a visiting Microsurgical Fellow at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan during his fellowship year. Prior to joining Breast Reconstruction Associates in 2015, he was in practice at Basset Medical Center in Cooperstown, NY, advancing their microsurgery program. Dr. Nagel joined Breast Reconstruction Associates to focus primarily on breast cancer patients and offer breast reconstruction using perforator flaps. Dr. Nagel was born and raised on a farm in Illinois. He played tennis collegiately, and still enjoys playing in his free time. Outside the hospital, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Lauren, who is an Otolaryngologist in Fort Worth, and their son.
